BOOK REVIEW │GIRL ONLINE & GIRL ONLINE ON TOUR

On September 2015, I purchased Girl Online and finished reading it in less than a week. Also on January 2016, I purchased Girl Online on Tour but took my time into reading it as I wanted to enjoy reading the novel as long as possible. The first novel can be read on its own, it doesn't feel incomplete without the second novel. However, the second novel is dependent on the first one as it would seem incomplete without it. Without further due let us get started with the review. Side note: there are no spoilers.

GIRL ONLINE:  this novel shares the story of a 16 years old teenage girl, who lives in Brighton, and suffers from anxiety, friendship and common school life issues. She also secretly happens to be a blogger who shares her thoughts under the name Girl Online. By Christmas she had to go to New York along with her family on a business trip. In New York she meets an 18 year old boy who makes her trip special, full of smiles and joy. Although he looks perfect, he happens to have a secret that will change the girl's life forever. Will his secret make her life brighter, or make it worst?

GIRL ONLINE ON TOUR: the heroin of Girl Online was invited to European Music Tour by her boyfriend and she is extremely excited to spend time with him. However, she faces few obstacles on that tour including threats, jealousy, and her boyfriend's heavy schedule as well as his less-welcoming friend. On top of that, she feels homesick and misses her family, best friend, and blog. With all these challenges, will she be able to face them, or will she give up and lose everything?

This is my summary on these two novels. As you can see, these novels are fictional, targeted to teenagers and young adults. Here are some aspects that I would like to address about these novels:

Story: overall, both stories are very interesting; they're mysterious, psychological, dramatic and romantic. Although they're fictional yet they seem to be more realistic. There is also a roller coaster of emotions; tension, curiosity, anger, sadness, but most of the time happiness and love.

Content: The scenarios and events were described in full detail making it easy for reader to imagine scenarios. In addition to that, characters were very well described in terms of looks and personalities. Lastly, both novels contained blog posts that the heroin used to write. These blog posts were written in basic and informal writing style.

Language: both novels are obviously written in English. The writing style is very basic and simple to the point that it's enjoyable to read and easy to understand.

Personally, I enjoyed reading both these novels and I wouldn't mind reading them again. I loved all these three aspects that are mentioned above and I would strongly recommend everyone to read them as they are worth your time. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you read these novels share me with your opinion. Hope you all have a nice day.
