Favorites│All Time Favorite Play Station Games

16 years ago, I lived two lives in two different worlds. One of them is called reality; the other one is called NAUGHTY DOG. I'm just kidding, what I meant to say is I started playing video games. Video games are really fun; it takes you to a whole new world and an amazing experience. Nowadays, video games are filled with multiple endings that are based on your decisions. Although I played multiple video games, there are six games that are truly unforgettable. These games are very special to me and I'll tell you why. Here are my all time favorite PS games:-

#6: Crash Tag Race (Play Station 1)
First game I have ever played in PS1, CTR is a game where you get to choose a character and race with 7 other characters. You can play both solo and teams. Although it's an old game yet it is still unforgettable. I enjoyed playing arcade which involved many challenges along with winning the race. I also loved playing cup races with my cousins as I was the fastest of them all. Lastly I loved the battle game where me and my cousins have to hit each other using different tools and while driving. If I still have this game, I would definitely play it once again.

#5: Tomb Raider (PC & PS)
Tomb Raider is one of my favorite childhood games. My dad bought the PC version when I was 7-8 years old and I enjoyed playing it so much. The game features a woman who hunts ancient treasures that are found in ancient and dangerous places around the world. What I loved about this game is adventure. You get to do quite a lot of stuff like climbing mountains, swimming, hunting, and best of all killing villains. In addition to that, I loved challenges that were set in PS3 version. Most challenges included finding rarest treasures, skins, and other stuff too. Moreover, I loved secret passages, arenas and caves. You must try it out or you'll really regret not doing so.

#4: Uncharted (Play Station 4)
Uncharted is a gaming series where Drake travels the world in search for deep dark ancient secrets and treasures. This game is similar to Tomb Raider however is differs from two perspectives: story and adventure. In Uncharted there are no side missions but there are tons of challenges. One of continuous challenges is searching for 100 relics that can be found throughout the game. As the story progresses, Drake finds himself being chased by different men who aim to take advantage of his knowledge and research. Another thing I love about this game is graphics. I enjoyed the view of caves, waterfalls, and everything while playing. Lastly, I love the fact that in each version, the game changes and becomes unexpected. This game is the only PS3 game my cousins and I share in common as we all love it and enjoy playing it.

#3: Silent Hill (Play Station 1)
Here comes my all time favorite horror video game, Silent Hill. This game is about a man who was going on vacation with his daughter to a town called Silent Hill. While he was driving, he had an accident and lost conscious. When he woke up, his daughter went missing so he starts searching for her in Silent Hill. He finds out that Silent Hill is a haunted town and encounters strange events. Will he be able to find his daughter, or will he be a victim in Silent Hill? I played this game when I was 9 years old, it frightened me so much and it is second most scary games I have ever played, after Silent Hill Playable Teaser (PS4). The game is scary, mysterious, and challenging. There are so many traps, locked doors, and different arenas that you will need to explore. The story is also one of the things that I loved about this game as it was interesting and emotional. I was all the time curious to know where and how will the hero find his daughter. Last but not least, I loved the atmosphere of the game. It is really scary, unexpected, and terrifying. I got spooked several times. Because of this game, I played almost all Silent Hill games in all Play Stations. I strongly advise you to give it a try even though it's an old game but it's worth your time.

#2: The Last of Us (Play Station 3 & 4)
Good time to write about this game because I'm playing it again on a Grounded Difficulty Level, the hardest level. This game is about a smuggler who lives in a town that has been infected by an incurable disease. People who are infected lose their minds and start attacking all human beings that are still alive. Similar to zombies but not like them. While chasing the backstabber, the smuggler, along with his partner, meets a woman who asks them to smuggle a 14 year old kid into another destination in exchange for merchants. After they agree, they encounter strange creatures, discover new places, and uncover secrets. Will they be able to smuggle this child, or will they get infected? This is one of best PS3 games ever. It is challenging, thrilling, and mysterious. I love the story and the adventure. You get to escape, invent different tools and collect gears for guns. As you progress; it gets harder and better. I also love graphics of the game. It was detailed and eye-catching. All sceneries were truly amazing to watch. Lastly, I love extra challenge that was added to the game which is finding collectables. This kind of challenges spice up the game and make it more exciting. If there is only one game you would ask me to recommend you playing in PS3 it would be this game.

#1: Resident Evil Code Veronica X (Play Station 2)
Finally we reached to my number 1 favorite game, RECVX. This is a gaming series where the heroin gets caught by a corporation that is involved in Bio Terrorism. When she gets released, she tries to uncover the corporation's dark secrets as well as escape the arena. Will she be able to do both, or will she be a victim? I can easily say that this is by far the best game I have ever played in terms of story-telling, challenges, adventure, and graphics. The story is truly amazing. It is thrilling, mysterious, and surprisingly emotional. It was really overwhelming and touching. The challenges included locked doors, zombies, traps and more. In addition to that, the game involved finding, mixing, and using many items in different methods. Moreover, graphics were truly amazing at that time, very detailed and eye catching. Lastly, I love soundtracks of this game to the point I'm still listening to them (even right now) and most of the time I get asked about them. I have never found any game similar to this, even though RE has released many games, but this was unique enough to be my number 1 favorite game of all time. If you haven't tried it, you are missing a trophy.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post; I apologize if it is too long but I wanted to share all details that I love about each game I played. Hope you have a nice day and see you next with new post.

BOOK REVIEW │GIRL ONLINE & GIRL ONLINE ON TOUR

On September 2015, I purchased Girl Online and finished reading it in less than a week. Also on January 2016, I purchased Girl Online on Tour but took my time into reading it as I wanted to enjoy reading the novel as long as possible. The first novel can be read on its own, it doesn't feel incomplete without the second novel. However, the second novel is dependent on the first one as it would seem incomplete without it. Without further due let us get started with the review. Side note: there are no spoilers.

GIRL ONLINE:  this novel shares the story of a 16 years old teenage girl, who lives in Brighton, and suffers from anxiety, friendship and common school life issues. She also secretly happens to be a blogger who shares her thoughts under the name Girl Online. By Christmas she had to go to New York along with her family on a business trip. In New York she meets an 18 year old boy who makes her trip special, full of smiles and joy. Although he looks perfect, he happens to have a secret that will change the girl's life forever. Will his secret make her life brighter, or make it worst?

GIRL ONLINE ON TOUR: the heroin of Girl Online was invited to European Music Tour by her boyfriend and she is extremely excited to spend time with him. However, she faces few obstacles on that tour including threats, jealousy, and her boyfriend's heavy schedule as well as his less-welcoming friend. On top of that, she feels homesick and misses her family, best friend, and blog. With all these challenges, will she be able to face them, or will she give up and lose everything?

This is my summary on these two novels. As you can see, these novels are fictional, targeted to teenagers and young adults. Here are some aspects that I would like to address about these novels:

Story: overall, both stories are very interesting; they're mysterious, psychological, dramatic and romantic. Although they're fictional yet they seem to be more realistic. There is also a roller coaster of emotions; tension, curiosity, anger, sadness, but most of the time happiness and love.

Content: The scenarios and events were described in full detail making it easy for reader to imagine scenarios. In addition to that, characters were very well described in terms of looks and personalities. Lastly, both novels contained blog posts that the heroin used to write. These blog posts were written in basic and informal writing style.

Language: both novels are obviously written in English. The writing style is very basic and simple to the point that it's enjoyable to read and easy to understand.

Personally, I enjoyed reading both these novels and I wouldn't mind reading them again. I loved all these three aspects that are mentioned above and I would strongly recommend everyone to read them as they are worth your time. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you read these novels share me with your opinion. Hope you all have a nice day.

LIFE POST │WHY DID I DISAPPEAR?

Hello there! Welcome to my blog I'm glad you made the time to read my post. First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for not being committed to my blog and not making effort to post even on monthly basis at least. Let me tell you about series of events that made me disappear.

On January 2016, I got food poisoning and I was hospitalized for 6 days. While I was in the hospital, I experienced both physical and psychological pain. Physical pain includes injection of potassium through needles, stomachache, back pain and severe headaches. Psychological pain includes loneliness, discouraged, and extremely bored. Although this was a truly painful experience, it was worth going through because I learned so much about importance of health, the struggle patients go through, and most importantly who are my true supporters.

After getting discharged, my last spring semester had started. It was one of most boring semesters I have ever experienced as my friends had already graduated and I lost the motivation to learn more from my courses. All I had in my mind is to end this semester as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I began searching for a job. I went to two career exhibitions, as well as submitted my resume to many institutions both online and offline. It has been a very nerve-wrecking experience but it was worth a shot.

During that time, I lost motivation and inspiration. I had to leave my blog for sake of writing length reports, preparing my resume, and of course meeting my social life commitments.  Now that I'm finally over with my college life, I can say that I have no studies to worry about. I hope I won't be haunted with exams and projects in the future. At the same time, I will try my best to keep posting and be committed to my blog more often as I truly enjoy blogging. Thank you all for your support and hope you have a nice day.

Let's Play with Eyes and Lips

Makeup is not about following rules and guidelines only, it’s about expressing your personality the way that you feel comfortable with. When it comes to applying makeup, there are two parts of face that most people focus on: eyes and lips. Both eyes and lips play a great role in makeup but they need to balance each other. If one of those two parts of face don’t match each other, this will make your makeup look terrible. This post will talk about how to balance your eyes and lips to make your makeup look beautiful and neat. This is how you can balance your eyes and lips:-

a)   Natural Makeup: this type of makeup tends to hide imperfections on face and at the same time make it look healthy and glowy. To achieve this makeup you need to apply very light eye shadow colors (try using light brown and white), very light blusher, and natural lip color  If you want to add a little drama to the look, you can use strong lip color (like red and pink) but make sure not to apply excessive amount of lipstick.

b)   Smokey Makeup: this type of makeup tends to make your face attractive and it is usually applied during special events. To achieve this makeup you need to apply both light and dark eyeshadow colors (black and brown and most popular), blusher on your choice, and a light lipstick. Try to avoid very light lipstick as it will not make your lips look better.

c)   Special Makeup: this type of makeup tends to have lots of special additions such as: glitter, shimmer and lots of colors  This makeup tend to focus on both eyes and makeup, in addition it is mostly applied in weddings. To achieve this look you need to choose a great mixture of colors  add a little bit of shimmer and glitter to it, you can make your blusher vibrant or simple the choice is yours, and for the lips you can go for ombre lips or just a strong lip color  If there is so much going on top of your eyes then avoid making your lips ombre to balance your look.
If you still need help in balancing your eyes and lips, here are quick tips to balance your look:-

1-   Choose the type of makeup that you want to apply on your face, is it natural, Smokey, elegant, or special?

2-   Decide which part of your face you want to focus most on: eyes or lips?

3-   If you decided to focus on the eyes, then choose the lipstick that will make your lips look natural or a toned down color.

4-   However if you decided to focus on lips, then choose very smooth eyeshadow color that will tone down the eyes.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, if there are any questions, comments, or suggestions let me know in comments below or contact me on other social networks and Good luck!

Shopping at Sephora

Sephora is one of my top favorite makeup brands in the world. Every product I purchase at Sephora tends to make my Makeup look very attractive and the best part is it lasts for long time. Every type of products can be found at Sephora moreover there are other brands that Sephora includes in the shop. Other Makeup brands include:
a)   Urban Decay
b)  Makeup Forever Professional
c)   LancĂ´me
d)  Sigma
e)   Smash box

These are the products that I bought from Sephora:-
 a)   Urban Decay: From this brand I brought the  lightest shade Naked foundation, and two 24/7  Glide on Line Eyeliners. This is one of the best  foundations I've ever bought because it gives a  nice natural glow to the skin and the face looks more natural rather than cakey. I also loved these eyeliners because they are waterproofed so they tend to last longer even if the weather was really hot and if humidity was high.

    b)   Smash Box: From this brand I brought a highlighting powder which gives a nice highlight to the face after applying blusher and powder on face. I also recommend to buy the Halo bronzers and blushers because they have a really nice grinding tool which can help you choose the amount of makeup you want to apply on your face.

    c)    Sephora and Makeup Forever Professional: From Sephora I got a Jumbo Pencil which acts as an eyeshadow in a shimmery bronze color and I bought a green eyeliner pencil which also looked very shimmery. As from Makeup Forever I only bought the new compact powder which tends to act as both foundation and powder and this is one of my favorite products as well because I can skip the foundation by just applying this product and the result would look fantastic. I highly recommend to all girls -who want to avoid using foundation- to buy this product.

How to choose the perfect foundation

Foundation is a makeup product that tends to give your face a nice glow and hides all the imperfect spots or areas around your face. Due to the busy daily life routines, we all come through stress, tiredness and lack of sleep. Once our faces get tired, we tend to see more of blackness under the eye, redness around nose, dryness around skin, and sometimes pimples and zits. These imperfect marks makes you lose the natural glow on your face, but there is not a problem when help is there.

In order to find the perfect foundation you have to identify the purpose of buying it. For example: I want to cover my spots, I want to brighten my face, and I want to give my face a natural glow. Based on your purpose choose the type that satisfies you such as:
a)               Full-coverage foundation: used to hide spots and oily skin
b)              Liquid foundation: used to give a natural glow to the face.
c)               Powder foundation: used to brighten up the face.

Always test the type of foundation you want on your hands first. After 4-5 hours take a look at the foundation you applied. If there is no change then this is the perfect long-lasting foundation. Good luck in shopping for foundation.

How to Apply False Lashes

Most makeup artists tend to apply the mascara that makes their lashes have a high volume and length. However, this technique has not worked for all girls because unfortunately not all girls have long lashes. Therefore, these girls have been applying false lashes along with mascara. This technique has been used very widely as it shows great results. Long lashes are suitable for all makeup looks: simple, elegant and Smokey makeups. But this technique is not as easy as it looks. So I have come up with easy tips that can help you apply false lashes easily. These are the tips on applying false lashes:-

1)  Apply a liquid eyeliner first on top of your eyes as it will be your guideline to where you will put your false lashes on.

2)  Apply a mascara that gives a high volume and length to your lashes I recommend using Maybelline XX volume mascara.

3)  Use your tweezers to hold false lashes instead of using your hands.

4)  Apply a very small amount of glue on top of your false lashes.

5)  Put your false lashes on top of your liquid eyeliner but very close to your natural lashes.

6)  Let the glue dry for 2 minutes then use your eyelash curler to combine your natural lashes with false lashes.

As you keep on using these tips, you will realize how beautiful your lashes will look like and remember practice makes it easier. I hope you all enjoyed reading this post and let me know if there are any other makeup tips that you would like to read more about. Good Luck!
