Makeup Haul: INGLOT

Hello There Everyone. Lately I've been doing some shopping and today I'm going to show you the makeup products that I bought from INGLOT and after testing these products I'll give you my review on them. Seriously this is the shop that creates makeup products with great quality, if there is any makeup brand that a person should be loyal to is INGLOT. Here is what I got from INGLOT:

1- Cream Foundation: The foundation that I bought is in a fair shade and it has creamy formula. This foundation does last pretty long time, its full coverage and its thick as well. The drawbacks of it is the foundation is a little difficult to blend and the package is terrible because it covered the foundation with a plastic paper which wasted a certain amount of
foundation. Nevertheless I love the product I just wish it had a better packaging.

2- Setting Powder: The powder is also in fair shade and it sets the foundation and concealer in place, also it gives a tint of brightness to the face. It is matte no shimmer at all is included which is what I love and makes the makeup look pretty in photos which is a great bonus. No drawbacks at all on this product it is an amazing powder. Good Job INGLOT.

3- Eye-shadows: I got for myself 2 eye-shadows but I'll be featuring my previous ones along with them since they are still available in the shop. I got one matte brown eye-shadow, 4 shimmery eye-shadows, and one matte orange eye-shadow with 3 shades. The matte eye-shadows are still
being tested but the shimmery ones are amazing, they have very strong pigmentation and the shimmer is strong as well, also they last for long time. There is also a refill service if you ran out of any eye-shadow which is great for those who use eye-shadows a lot as I do.

4- Blusher: The blusher that I got is in Matte Pink shade and it also has strong pigmentation. It has a powder texture to it, long-lasting and little goes along the way. I do advice to use just a small amount of it since its very pigmented but if you prefer light shades they are also available in the store I do recommend checking them out.

5- Lipstick: Last but not least product which is a lipstick in no.199 this lipstick is light purple with a pink tint added to it. It is matte no shimmer on
it, has a creamy formula and has a medium pigmentation. I do recommend getting this lipstick as you can use it on daily basis.

That is all of the products that I've bought from INGLOT overall I do love this store and recommend all makeup artists to check it out. Have a nice day and stay tuned for more hauls.

June Favorites 2014: Sephora, Inglot & More ♥

Hello Everyone! Its almost the end of June but I thought of sharing my June's recent beauty purchases and favorites. So lets start reviewing these products:

The first two products I would like to start with are from Urban Decay and they are UD Eyeshadow Primer Potion in shade EDEN and UD 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in shade Black Velvet. This primer makes the eyeshadow last longer, prevent eyeshadow from creasing, and hides any discoloration that takes place within the eyes. As for the eye pencil it has a very creamy formula, easily blended, and can be used for many purposes as this one is matte black shade. Love those two products and those are my must have products.

I know I mentioned this product in my April Favorites but I'm still loving it which is my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I use this sometimes when I don't get enough sleep at night or when my face is breaking out and the formula is really creamy, easily blended however its not long-lasting so I recommend re-touching it if you are going out for long time

Another product I wanted to mention is Makeup Forever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector. I've been using this to fill eyebrows on my customers and they all seem to love it as much as I do. Review on this product is coming soon.

Next product that I've been loving so much is the Benefit They're Real Mascara. Since I ran out with my Lancome mascara I knew I needed a new one so thought of giving this one a try. Review on this mascara is coming soon.

Next two products that I've been using are Sephora Bronzing Powder and Sephora Blusher. Both of them are Matte free from shine and both give a beautiful finishing touches to the face. I have already posted a review on this blusher you can check that out to know about it in details.

Next product that I've been using a lot is Smashbox Highlighter in shade Soft Lights. This highlighter has a soft touch on cheeks and makes the blusher look very beautiful. Its not too shimmery and not dull looking at all it has a soft shimmer in baby pink shade. Love this highlighter so much.

Last product I would like to mention is my Go-To Kate Moss Lipstick from Rimmel no.80. This lipstick matches the natural color of my lips which is why I tend to use it almost everyday. It has a creamy texture with soft pigmentation.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, a few posts are coming soon and more reviews are coming up on some products so let me know if you have any specific products that you would like me to review next. Thank you for reading this post and hope you have a nice day.

My Lipstick Collection

Hello Everyone! How are you all doing? Recently while I was rearranging my makeup I got inspired to post a few beauty and makeup related topics on my blog. One of them is this post which is about my lipstick collections. What are the lipsticks that I tend to refer to most? What are the types of lipsticks? And are they worth purchasing or not? So let's get started!

The first lipstick that I'll be talking about is from Kryolan no.LC083. It is a Matte lipstick with a mixture of pink and purple together. The lipstick has medium pigmentation as it is not too bright and does not look dull at all in addition it is long lasting. Even though its matte it does not make your lips dry as it has a slight moisturizing formula that can make your lips soft. I love this lipstick I think its great for both Spring and Summer also can be used on daily basis.

The second lipstick is from Calvin Klein called Delightful Delicious Luxury. The color of lipstick is bright pink but not as bright as neon pink with slight shimmer to it making the lips look bright and beautiful. The lipstick is moisturizing, very soft on lips, and has a strong pigmentation. It has no mixture of colors to it as it has only pink shade to it. Love this lipstick and I tend to refer it on special occasions most of the time as it is long lasting as well.

Another lipstick I'll be reviewing is from Inglot no.199. This is a soft lipstick with very slight shimmer to it in purple shade. If I had to describe it I would say it is a mixture between pink and lavender giving a very soft and beautiful purple shade. The pigmentation of lipstick is low, not highly pigmented and the lipstick does not make the lips dry at all. I love using this lipstick on daily basis but its not long lasting requires touch up if you are going out for a long time.

Next two lipsticks I'll be talking about are Rimmel Kate Mosse Lipstick and Maybelline Lipstick. Both lipsticks fall in peach category however the Maybelline has a pink undertone whereas Rimmel has an orange undertone. Both lipsticks are soft with medium pigmentation and are matte. They both are long-lasting and can match up with lots of makeup looks. I recommend getting lipsticks from these two brands because they can be used for all occasions and can be used daily as well.

Last but not least my two favorite lipsticks which are Rimmel Metallic Shimmer and Sephora Rouge Passion Red lipstick. The Rimmel Lipstick is in shade dark berry with lots of shimmer and strong pigmentation. The Sephora Lipstick is what I like to describe Red Velvet shade as it reminds me a lot of the Red Velvet cupcakes. It is matte with a strong pigmentation and long-lasting as well. I tend to combine those two lipsticks together to create the perfect Rouge color. Love these two lipsticks as they both become a great combination together.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post, let me know if there are other makeup collections that you want me to review and show you as well. Stay tuned for more posts and have a nice day.

May Favourites 2014: Beauty & Random Favs ♡

Hello Everybody how are you all doing? As it seems we have reached the end of May & began month of June which means there will be new month favorites. This month I didn't have a lot of makeup products so thought of sharing some random favs as well.

The first favorite product is my Foundation Brush from Etude House. Ever since I bought this I have been using it non-stop even when I apply sun-screen. The quality is amazing & so was the price.

Next product is my Urban Decay Ammo Palette which has super shimmery & pigmented eye-shadows. I personally love those types of eye-shadows & I tend to use them a lot on myself & on my customers.

Another eye-shadow I have been loving recently is Illamasqua blue eye-shadow. Very pigmented & long-lasting you do not need any fixed sprays to make it bold.

Another product is Sephora Rouge Lipstick. This lipstick is matte, very pigmented, long-lasting & moisturizing as well. This is my favorite lipstick for the time being.

Speaking of lip products, I have been loving two lip liners. One from Max Factor which is in color pink and another is from Maybelline in color red. Both lip liners are creamy and give a nice touch on lips.

A big shout out to Bath&BodyWorks for creating amazing sweet shop candles. I've been loving this month Watermelon Lemonade and Lemon Drops.
Last but not least random favorite is the YSL Magnifesto perfume which smells very nice and has a strong scent.
I hope you enjoyed reading my May favorites let me know which products have you been loving last month.

Review: Sephora Blusher

Hello Everybody! Today's post is going to be a makeup review on a product that I have been using for about 6 months which is Sephora Blusher called Pop Orange N°17.
Sephora claims that this blusher is long-lasting and pigmented. Here is what I think of the blusher:

1) Pigmentation: the color intensity is strong even though I chose a peach shade yet it looks very pigmented & I love that you can easily build it up or make it neutral just the way you like.

2) Long-lasting: just like Sephora claimed it is long lasting it stayed on my cheeks for 4 hours without having to do any touch ups which is definitely something I'm looking for in a blush.

3) Price: the price of blusher was very convenient not pricey nor too cheap & it was worth it.

4) Multi-task: this blusher can be used as an eye shadow and it provides with a higher pigmentation as well.
I don't have any negative points on this blusher there are no scents to this blusher & there are many shades that can found at Sephora. I hope you enjoyed reading this post let me know if you want me to review other products too.

April Beauty Favorites: Rimmel, Maybelline & More

Hello Everyone! I sincerely apologize for almost not posting in my blog forever I'm really busy these days that its hard to make time for social network including blogger so I hope you all forgive me for this. I thought of sharing with you my beauty favorites on a monthly basis and let you know what are the products I have been frequently using and what do I love about them. So lets start.

Face Products: The most face products that I have been reaching out for recently are:
1- Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation: I posted a blog on this foundation you can check that out in the list of posts.

2- Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: this concealer has been very popular in YouTube so I decided to try it out and I really loved it. It has a medium coverage, easily blended and a very good applicator. One thing I don't like about it is that it only lasts for 4 hours and after that you need to do a touch up but nevertheless I still love this concealer.

Eye Products: The recent eye products that I have been using on daily basis are:
1- Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil: This pencil has made a slight change into my daily makeup routine. I usually tend to skip filling my eyebrows but for some reason I thought of paying attention to them. Therefore I tried this product and it really makes my eyebrows look nicely shaped, gives them a natural color and very easy to blend. I also love the fact that it comes with a very small brush applicator which really helps frame the brows.

2- Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner: I have been using this product for several months and when I ran out of it I bought two of these (one for me and one for my customers). I love the fact that this liner lasts for even 10 hours without getting smudged even when the weather is very hot. I also like the thin brush it comes with and the color is matte black without any shimmer or shine to it.

3- Rimmel Eyeliner Pencil (Pure White): Another product from Rimmel is the white eyeliner pencil which I use for 3 purposes: highlight my brow bone, add a slight shadow to my inner corner, and apply on my waterline. It lasts for more than 4 hours and intensity of color is very good. However, it is pretty dry and makes it difficult to blend but it serves my purposes.

4- Lancome Hypnose Mascara: This is the first mascara I ever used in my life and it never fails to impress me. This mascara is long-lasting, adds volume and length to the lashes. The applicator is very good and it does not make lashes dry at all.

5- Urban Decay Vice 2 palette: Last Eye product I have been using recently for my customers is this palette which has 20 colors with many shades. There are matte shadows and shimmery ones too, the shadows are super pigmented and long-lasting. The only drawback I have to mention is the palette is pretty on pricey side.

Lipsticks: For the lips I hardly change my lipsticks but for this month I decided to go for Spring colors. I only bought two lipsticks which are:
1- Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick no.109 which has a mix of peach and coral undertone.
2- Maybelline Coral Tonic Lipstick no.422 which has a pink coral undertone.
Both lipsticks are pigmented and long-lasting.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my favorite beauty products and hopefully I will try to stay committed to the monthly favorites as much as I can. Let me know if there are other posts you would love to read and have a nice day.

REVIEW: MAKEUP FOREVER PROFESSIONAL PRO FINISH MULTI-USE POWDER FOUNDATION

Makeup Forever Professional is a French makeup brand specifically at Paris that is considered one of top makeup brands worldwide. I personally have been using a few products from this brand and I always recommend my customers to go for this brand as well. In this post I shall review one of my most used makeup product from Makeup Forever which is Pro FINish Multi-use powder foundation.

According to Makeup Forever Professional Website: “With its transforming texture, PRO FINISH is the 1st multi-use powder foundation that allows you to fully customize your finish and coverage level. Formulated with exclusive bio-mimetic coated pigments, its breakthrough formula can be used wet or dry”.  I have been using this powder for many years and the shade I use is 115 Pink Ivory. These are results that I found from using this product:

a)    Medium Coverage: this foundation powder gives a good coverage for the face as it covers up blemishes, dis-colorations and oiliness of skin. It is suitable for all skin types and has many shades that are suitable for each skin type.

b)    Long-lasting: this foundation powder lasts for almost 3-4 hours without using setting spray.

c)    Texture: this foundations texture tends to be smooth and minimum amount is required to cover up the whole face. Be careful as high excess amount of this powder foundation will lead to a cakey face.

d)   Multi-use: there are two methods to apply this powder foundation: one is by using the sponge given with the foundation and dapping it gently onto the skin. Another way is by using a wet sponge, damping it into the texture and blending it into the skin for a natural sheer result.

Even though this powder foundation tend to have great qualities, it also a few drawbacks such as:

1-   Price: This powder foundation is on a pricey side compared to other powder foundations as it costs about $44.67 (O.R 17.00).
2-   Skin Sensitivity: for sensitive skin I don’t recommend to using it on daily basis as it makes the skin very dry.

That’s all I could say about this powder foundation I really love this powder foundation and I strongly recommend using it for special occasions as it looks very good in photography. I hope you all enjoyed reading this post please let me know if you would like to see any other reviews on other products.

Review: Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

Hello Makeup lovers how are you all doing? I hope you are all doing great and having a wonderful day. I extremely apologize for not being able to post any topic recently because I was busy with my tests. Today’s topic is a makeup review on the Naked Foundation from Urban Decay. As it is mentioned in Urban Decay website about this foundation: “Coverage without compromise. Our weightless formula blurs imperfections for a flawless finish that feels invisible, but looks professionally retouched”.

I’ve used this foundation for several times, as I bought the lightest shade no 0.5 for fair and pink undertone skin. I believe that this foundation is considered to be one of the most favourite foundations ever as I am fully satisfied with the results:

-          It is absolutely weightless: the foundation gives a natural finishing touch, makes the face look professionally retouched, and does not make the face look cakey.

-         Full coverage: the foundation covers up all the blemishes, dark circles and any dis-coloration. Every time I apply this foundation I tend to skip applying concealer since it already does a great job in covering up all the imperfections.

-         Long lasting: without the use of setting spray or long lasting primers, this foundation tends to last for more than 4 hours as I personally have used for almost 6 hours and the results are same.

-         Easy applicator: the foundation comes with a pump which makes it easier to decide on the needed amount. Moreover it only requires a minimum amount to apply because the liquid tends to be easily blend able and gradually builds up all around the face.

It is clear that this foundation is worth buying since it has many great benefits and it is suitable for all skin types. The only downside I have to mention is the smell of the foundation. Even though it remains for a very short amount of time however it is a bit irritating. Nevertheless I still adore this foundation. You can find it in Sephora or in Urban Decay website (www.urbandecay.com) as it is sold for $39.00 (O.R 15.00). I hope you all enjoyed reading this post let me know if you have any extra information regarding this foundation.
